Welcome

Guided 4×4 scenic self-drive tours

Namibia is a land full of contrasts and unparallel natural beauty. To truly discover its abundant natural riches, one has to opt for the road less travelled – going off-road. Exploring unfamiliar places and navigating inaccessible tracks on your own can be daunting and dangerous. Getting lost in the desert, or stuck in a sandy river bed… even worse, missing out on hidden gems without even knowing it.

That’s why we offer to take you 4×4 off-road to explore the majesty of the Namib Desert and its many life supporting dry riverbeds. Discover the excitement of the road less travelled; the magic of sleeping under the stars; the serenity of miles and miles of nothingness without a soul in sight.

We cannot wait to take you into the unknown to explore the unfamiliar.

Desert River Tours is registered with the NAMIBIA TOURISM BOARD (NTB) in compliance with the standard requirements.
